We're grateful for their continued
efforts to increase excellence and support our mission...

Come for the beer, the food, the fellowship!
Upcoming Parish Outreach Opportunities
For the past year, St. Charles parish has been partnering with NPH (Nuestro Pequenos Hermanos “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”), an international organization founded by Fr. Wasson in the early 1950’s to provide a family environment for abandoned youth of all ages. Today, more than 3500 young people are being raised in a Catholic family setting in large group homes throughout Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Students from the Guatemala home will be visiting the Twin Cities and staying with St. Charles families this October 5-10. They will be participating in a number of events designed to familiarize us with their lives in an NPH home and to raise needed funds, including activities with our own school students. The adolescent youth and their chaperones will be participating in the Sunday Masses of October 8 and 9 and then putting on a program of singing and dancing in Doran Hall after each Mass. After the 5 pm Mass October 8, all parishioners are invited to join the young people in a “make your own taco” supper, during which the students will entertain, give testimonies, and provide an opportunity to give support. There will also be a chance to see and hear them after the Sunday 8 am and 10 am Masses and enjoy coffee and donuts. Envelopes will be in the pews for all the Masses to make it easier for our parishioners to generously support these youth in their desire to lead a productive and faithful Catholic life.
